| Project Particulars | The Education Through Eye Care Project in Narmada District/Vadodara District aims to improve the vision and overall learning outcomes of children from tribal and economically weaker communities. In these areas, poverty, poor nutrition, and limited healthcare access often lead to untreated vision problems that hinder a child’s education and confidence. Through school-based eye screening camps, distribution of spectacles, referral support for advanced treatment, and awareness sessions for parents and teachers, the project seeks to ensure early detection and timely intervention for vision impairments. By addressing this critical health need, the initiative contributes to better academic performance, increased participation, and enhanced well-being among children in the tribal belt of Narmada and Vadodara District. |
